Well, like so many before me, I have had my time in the blogging community, found out what it's all about but tired of it quickly.
It served as a nice distraction from searching for a job but now I have one I don't want to wase my time writing the same crap as everyone else.
I honestly admire all those people that keep up the tempo and update daily and good luck to them in the future; I know this business ain't for me.
Its nice to think that this little bit of my life will be preserved on the internet for generations to come.
Goodbye all.

Hopes and dreams
I know I’ve probably mentioned this before but it really is an all or nothing situation when you are seeking employment. Last week I really had nothing to be going on with and now a few things have started to develop. Applying for things obviously takes time and then it all seems to come along at once. Saying that, it can be just as easy to go back to square one, you can attend interviews all week long but closing the deal and getting the job is another thing.
The additional bonus for me is I’m currently being checked to see if I’m good to work in the local hospital, helping out with the radio station. This has been one of those things that I’ve always wanted and meant to do but never gone for and now I have it’s a great feeling.
It will enable me to see if I actually have any chance whatsoever of moving into the presenting business, whilst giving up time for a good cause. For all I know I could be really crap and it’s just not for me but I really hope this isn’t the case as I will openly admit that this would break me in two. Imagine finding out that the one thing you have always dreamed of doing you are really bad at. Not good.

Notice
I find myself noticing more stuff when i'm out and about and thinking, umm I could write about that on my blog. Things that I'm sure before I would of noticed but just forgotten about, and now I suppose you would like an example of this but right now I haven't got one.
There was something about the supermarket but I slipped my mind.
Oh god, i've turned into my grandma. She talks like that. I need a job!

Today
And so Monday is upon us again, it’s another week beginning, pushing ever further into March. Before you know it, it will be Easter and the other side of that lies the summer. Then you past the year’s longest days and its getting dark earlier again and past Halloween into straight into Christmas.
Suddenly you stand there shouting happy 2020 and laughing at the fact it’s just like saying 20 twice and then realising it is just saying 20 twice and then realising that it is 2020 and that all that, whatever that was or is, seems so long ago.
Why does everyone I know keep dieing, am I really at that age already you think and then it is you being buried or burnt.
So whatever happens today, no matter how bad, it’s all a matter of perspective.

No more!
OK, that’s it, not another word about that bloody programme on this blog from this moment on.
They emailed back to say they have no tickets to the final so no news from there, sorry to you if you came here looking for that.
So for me now it’s ‘Back to Normality’!

Back to Back to Reality
Yet again I attended the recording of struggling reality format show ‘back to reality’ as badly received on channel five.
At about 7pm the producers decided to record the show ‘as live’ and this meant waiting around a bit longer as the programme was on later due to the Liverpool match.
While we were waiting there were the complementary cans of Fosters, DJ and this time they had really pushed the boat out with free pizzas and copies of Heat magazine (show sponsors!).
During recording of the show, jovial host Richard Bacon partially tripped over whilst walking across the stage much to the amusement of the audience but unfortunately this wasn’t being recorded. His co host Tess Dally we were told had ‘a touch of the flu’, but she fought on regardless and appeared to be her lovely smiley self throughout the show.
Tonight’s show was a bit different from the previous one I attended mainly due to the lack of an eviction so there was only really one show to record. This meant no hanging around in-between recordings as well as the fact of the audience consuming more alcohol before the show thus giving rowdier applause.
One of the most noticeable factors was the high temperature of the studio and I was glad to get out in the end as it started to make people feel faint.
Instead of the evection we were treated to Ricardo re-entering the house for one evening. But from an audience point of view all we could do was cheer and shout to the contestants on the opposite side of a big black curtain as we never go to actually see Ricardo, although someone did spot him in the VIP tent before the show.
A fun night out with free pizza, beer and Tess Dally’s rear!

Question of the Week, Old and New
Last weeks question (although running for two weeks!) asked you “Is the tall one Ant or Dec” in response to a survey by ‘the mirror’ newspaper revealing that 70% of people asked answered incorrectly.
Well I’m happy to say that travelmonkey readers have a bit more about them when it comes to important questions such as this with a pleasing 74% telling me correctly that Ant is the tall one.
Following on from this, this weeks question was simply going to be “Ant or Dec?” but other issues have presented themselves as more important,
In light of the news that you will be able to use your mobile on the London underground and already can on the Newcastle Metro, we ask, is this a good thing?
Just think people, the old chestnut ‘sorry I’m late but couldn’t call, stuck on the dam tube’ will be valid no more, not to mention that when the train gets stuck everyone will get their mobiles out and start yabbering away!
I often enjoy the moment when the train on its way into central London eases into the tunnel and the outside world is cut off till you emerge from the station back into civilisation again.
Of course I can see the benefits of it all but I just think how irritating mobiles already are above ground, on buses, trains in cinemas and bars etc. So the prospect of being stuck underground in a carriage full of working handsets is not one I relish.
Over to you then, the question of the week “Mobile transmitters on the London Underground, good idea?”. Vote yes or no on the right ---> --->
